WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST A VFIS OF MISS/LOU EMERGENCY DRIVER TRAINING CLASS IN 2019?

This is a free class to all VFIS insureds and host departments, and is approved by and meets all the standards of the Louisiana and Mississippi Departments of Public Safety, Louisiana and Mississippi Fire Academies and NFPA.

 

This is a 2-day, 16-hour class. Hosting a class will save your department travel time and money. Plus, you are helping other area departments by providing a place for them to receive training.

 

Requirements to host a class are: a classroom that holds at least 30 people all seated at tables, a parking lot at least 300’ x 300’ (may be slightly smaller) and 100 traffic cones.

FEMA GRANT WRITING PROGRAM

Recently, Special Risk Insurance, Inc. d/b/a VFIS of Miss/Lou has received calls from Fire Departments asking if we still write FEMA Fire Act Grants. Unfortunately, our Grant Writer passed away and we no longer provide this service. Please contact FEMA, LSUFETI or your local LSFA Representative to locate a Grant Writer in your area.
